It’s a new year, and Drs. Dennis and Marie Stiles are very excited for what 2012 has in store for our practice! Each year we like to improve our practice with the newest technologies available, making each patient’s experience comfortable and efficient.

Can you imagine visiting the dentist and not needing to get messy, uncomfortable impressions? One piece of new technology that we are excited to now offer our patients is the iTero Digital Impression System. This new system takes a highly accurate digital impression of a patient’s teeth, eliminating the need for the awkward tray and putty impressions. The iTero system guarantees a perfect crown or bridge fit by capturing images of your tooth surface and gum tissue. This image is then sent to the computer, which creates a 3D image of your teeth. We can use this system for many of our treatments, including Invisalign, implants and crowns, among others. Thanks to this new technology, we are able to shorten how long you spend in the dental chair and give you more time to enjoy your beautiful smile!

We are also starting the new year with an improved digital x-ray system. Our office recently upgraded to the Schick Elite Digital X-Ray System. This new x-ray system provides outstanding image quality and an easy-to-use design, leaving our patients feeling comfortable and confident in their treatment. We can use this system for many of our treatments, including Invisalign, dental implants and crowns, among others.
